Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the motorized horizontal center split velvet stage traveler system involves the installation of a motorized sliding curtain arrangement on a fully modular, high-precision stage curtain track, ensuring smooth operation and flawless performance. The system features an automatic motorized stage curtain with maximum cord friction and minimal slippage, utilizing a modified gearbox with sealed bearings and self-lubricating center split overlapped curtains for dual-side opening. This fully automated system will comply with all safety norms and include heavy-duty steel rails and tracks with a safe working load, ensuring proper weight distribution and smooth movement through a ladder-type MS frame securely fixed on top of the mother grid. The curtain mechanism will offer variable speed, programmable acceleration, and dual activation (electric and manual), controllable from both the stage and the control room, with a matte black finish. Installation will be performed by skilled labor and specialized tailors stitching with double gathering, emphasizing the stage as the main attraction. The curtains will be crafted from high-quality 100% heavy polyester Molfino fabric (450 GSM) to enhance acoustical properties, provide a reflective look, and offer luxurious fullness, work will be carried out as per architectural drawings under the supervision of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). The installation will involve all necessary tools, machinery, manpower, staging, and consumables, including mild steel rail tracks for smooth operation, an engineered customized gearbox, and sliding traveler limit automatic stop mechanisms with rollers, clamps, runners, master runners, pulleys, and a 3mm steel wire rope, powered by a 1 HP motor (Godrej or Crompton Greaves) with an engineered gearbox, two air breaker contractors (L&T/Siemens), two micro switches for auto-stop, and three push buttons for user-friendly forward control. The curtain system will include motor mounting on a “C” channel platform, flame-retardant treatment, and optional wireless remotes, with flame-retardant textile solutions available at an additional cost. Shade and fabric samples must be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge or the end-user before installation.
